Dr. Sloan Rajadhyksha graduated from UC Berkeley College of Optometry and is currently completing the Irwin B. Suchoff Residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at SUNY. Dr. Raja met many inspiring doctors, vision therapists and students at COVD’s Annual Meeting, and wrote this after a meaningful chitchat with Dr. Amy Boscia. Drs. Raja and Boscia are among COVD’s rising superstars!
COVD 2018 brought together great minds in vision therapy and rehabilitation from around the world. Among the attendees was a vibrant doctor from Ithaca, NY: Amy Boscia. Dr. Boscia graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is the proud owner of Ithaca Eye Care Optometry. She started her practice in 2014 and has dedicated her time to providing comprehensive patient care. Her passion lies with pediatrics and vision rehabilitation.
Anyone who meets Dr. Boscia is immediately captivated by her infectious energy. Her investment in eye care and families is evident by her practice and her two sons, ages 2 and 6. It was an absolute pleasure to meet her at COVD! She is a great role model for young doctors wanting to open full-scope practices that include vision therapy.
Ithaca is a college town, home to both Ithaca College and Cornell University. Dr. Boscia appreciates the beautiful Finger Lakes area of New York year round.
